This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop and execute sustainable sales strategies aimed at enhancing order intake, revenue, and profitability within the designated sales territory, while considering regional market demands and customer preferences.
• Accountable for meeting established sales, booking, and margin objectives for the relevant product and solution portfolio, while actively scouting for new business prospects.
• Deliver professional account management and nurture existing customer relationships, while proactively seeking new clients to sustainably broaden the customer base and enhance market presence.
• Identify, pursue, and oversee project opportunities, incorporating regular assessments of market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs, and report findings to sales management.
• Conduct contract and pricing negotiations within authorized parameters, ensuring successful, customer-centric execution of projects and business transactions.
• Cultivate long-lasting customer relationships and guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction through personal visits, solution-oriented consulting, and promoting a consistent "Think Customer" approach.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments, maintain pertinent information in the CRM system, and adhere to all compliance, trade compliance, and company policies to ensure professional and transparent business operations.
• Technical or engineering background gained through vocational training, a degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 3 years of professional experience, preferably in a similar position within the flow control industry (e.g., control valves or measurement solutions in the chemical, energy, or process sectors).
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities for a variety of audiences.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to assist in pricing and negotiation discussions.
• Capacity to work independently as well as to collaborate across functions and locations.
• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region and occasionally internationally.
• Familiarity with digital tools such as CRM systems and Microsoft 365.
