This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Accountable for selling MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) supplies as well as other products to a well-established portfolio of multi-family housing (apartment communities) clients.
• Tasked with profitably increasing sales to meet annual sales targets as a sales consultant for both existing core industries and emerging sectors and markets.
• Responsible for identifying new accounts, retaining current accounts, and enhancing opportunities with existing clients.
• Cultivates and maintains sales relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at all levels within an organization.
• Oversees sales performance with an established group of customers, while effectively prospecting to broaden the customer base.
• Creates and executes strategies to enhance business visibility within the designated area.
• A minimum of 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) field sales experience.
• Direct sales experience with multi-family communities and facilities maintenance clients.
• Proven sales track record with HD Supply facility customers and industry products.
• Experience with a wide range of product lines.
• Strong organizational skills and familiarity with handheld technology.
• Knowledge of facility products, including hardware, electrical, lighting, and more.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Salesforce, or comparable CRM systems.
• Experience in consultative selling or solution selling is preferred.
