This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.
• Meet sales objectives by employing consultative selling techniques.
• Expand and nurture existing and new client relationships to drive incremental business.
• Collaborate closely with the entire Commercial Team to ensure a unified approach to clients and promote the comprehensive solutions offered by Bio-Techne.
• Conduct field sales within the designated territory, spending 75% of the time visiting customers.
• Possess familiarity with standard scientific methodologies, techniques, reagents, and equipment pertinent to Bio-Techne’s product range.
• Deliver precise sales forecasts for both instruments and reagents within the Immunoassay Product Lines.
• Utilize SalesForce.com to oversee all active leads, clients, and opportunities.
• Strategically plan and execute account management activities to meet objectives and align with the company’s vision.
• Ensure customers grasp the value proposition, product features and benefits, competitive edges, and relevant applications of all products.
• Over 5 years of experience in the Life Science tools sector.
• More than 2 years of sales experience in a related market.
• Immunoassay expertise is highly preferred.
• Proven interpersonal, presentation, and time & territory management abilities.
• Familiarity with reagents, laboratory techniques, methods, and equipment used in the research, development, and manufacturing of pharmaceutical drugs and biologics.
• Capability to engage with customers on a technical level.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, especially in negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving.
• Proficient in listening, comprehending, and questioning; able to translate that information into a compelling value proposition for the customer.
• Familiarity with MS Office, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com is a plus.
• Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy; self-motivated.
• Willingness and capability to work within a team setting.
