This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Accountable for driving profitable sales growth to meet annual sales targets as a sales consultant across established core industries and emerging markets.
• Tasked with prospecting new accounts, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and identifying additional opportunities with current customers.
• Cultivates and maintains sales relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at all levels within organizations.
• Oversees sales volumes among a defined group of customers, effectively prospecting to broaden the customer base.
• Formulates and executes strategies to enhance business presence within the designated area.
• Shares insights on market trends and competitor activities with relevant channels within the organization; fosters relationships and collaborative partnerships.
• Attends monthly business meetings for all company-sponsored associations.
• Engages in local trade shows and, if necessary, other regional or national events.
• Direct sales experience to multi-family communities and facilities maintenance customers.
• Minimum of 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) field sales experience.
• Direct sales experience with HD Supply facility customers and industry products.
• Proficient in managing a large volume of product lines.
• Strong organizational skills and familiarity with handheld technology.
• Knowledge of facilities products, including hardware, electrical, lighting, and more.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Salesforce, or equivalent CRM software.
• Experience in consultative selling or solution selling is preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets while working remotely.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
