This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Drive Sales Growth: Achieve and surpass annual sales and gross profit objectives.
• Win New Business: Identify, follow up, and convert potential OEM, Capital Project, and MRO clients.
• Develop Target Accounts: Pinpoint and concentrate on key strategic accounts for sustained growth.
• Understand Customer Needs: Perform thorough needs assessments and craft customized solutions based on technical and business insights.
• Deliver Winning Proposals: Generate persuasive proposals, presentations, and quotations that meet customer specifications.
• Negotiate for Success: Finalize agreements that optimize value for both the customer and the organization.
• Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Provide prompt, accurate, and reliable service while proactively addressing challenges.
• Collaborate Internally: Utilize internal technical and service resources to provide optimal solutions.
• Utilize CRM Tools: Monitor metrics, manage opportunities, and report progress on a weekly basis.
• Continuous Improvement: Engage in weekly accountability meetings and ongoing training through SunSource University.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering, or a 2-year technical degree in Fluid Power is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial sales, with a strong preference for experience in value-added sales.
• 2+ years of experience in Fluid Power sales is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Automation or Motion Control is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Strong technical aptitude coupled with a problem-solving orientation.
• Consultative, value-added sales methodology.
• Excellent skills in communication, planning, and negotiation.
• Self-driven, organized, and competitive.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
