
Outside Sales Account Manager – Industrial Fluid Handling Equipment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Create and implement a strategic sales plan for the territory to identify, target, and secure new business opportunities while enhancing existing customer relationships.
• Oversee the entire sales process, including prospecting, qualifying leads, making cold calls, delivering customer presentations, developing solutions, preparing quotes, negotiating, and closing sales.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the sales journey.
• Work in collaboration with internal teams including customer service, application engineering, and technical support to provide effective solutions and outstanding customer experiences.
• Leverage CRM and other sales tools to efficiently manage territory activities, customer interactions, pipeline development, and forecasts.
• Conduct regular on-site visits to customers to comprehend their needs, discover opportunities, and reinforce long-term partnerships.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the fluid process and industrial sectors.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related technical field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience in the industrial sector.
• Experience in selling fluid process equipment, filtration systems, pumps, valves, fluid handling equipment, rotating equipment, or other related industrial products is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Process Pumps is a significant advantage!
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and expand existing accounts within a designated territory.
• Strong skills in relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation.
• Self-driven with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM applications.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel across the assigned territory for regular customer visits.
