This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Oversee the daily sales operations focused on continuous business development and customer prospecting.
• Assist in managing a well-established sales territory.
• Engage in consultative selling of company services to existing and potential clients (B2B).
• Create action plans and schedules to pinpoint specific targets.
• Follow up and nurture new leads and referrals generated from field activities.
• Develop presentations and proposals for current and prospective customers.
• Create and maintain sales materials along with up-to-date product knowledge.
• Build and sustain relationships with current and potential clients.
• Oversee account services through quality checks and additional follow-up.
• Identify and address client concerns effectively.
• Generate various status reports, including activity updates, closings, and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate efficiently with Inside Sales personnel.
• Engage in marketing activities, such as seminars and trade shows.
• Follow up for the collection of payments.
• Coordinate shipping timelines and the delivery of products and services.
• High School Diploma or GED; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience in the industrial hose and gasket sector.
• Experience in value-add sales is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment.
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and capable of learning and utilizing a CRM system.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Some overnight travel may be required.
