This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Make a meaningful impact for those in greatest need.
• Serve as a representative for Ultragenyx within the Rare Disease Community.
• Advocate for Dojolvi in the treatment of long chain fatty oxidation disorders (LC-FAOD).
• Prepare for the prospective commercialization of two novel investigational gene therapies for MPSIIIA and GSD1a.
• Drive transformation through innovative strategies.
• Develop strong business acumen.
• Achieve consistent sales performance.
• Preferably established an internal high-touch patient service organization in a rare disease context.
• Experience in securing reimbursement for orphan therapies covered under both pharmacy and medical benefits.
• Prior involvement in multiple product launches within patient services is preferred.
• Deep understanding of reimbursement solutions and access programs for specialty pharmaceuticals, particularly in rare diseases.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting and hiring expert teams, including reimbursement managers, case managers, and nurses to assist patients and caregivers.
• Canadian experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with call center technology platforms, ranging from CRM to case management systems and tools utilized in managing patient service centers.
• Capability to translate the vision of being heroes to our patients into an exceptionally innovative patient service organization.
• An MS, RN, Pharm D, or MBA is preferred.
