This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Making a significant number of outbound calls to arrange appointments with a licensed Nurse Practitioner.
• Responding to incoming calls from members and case managers, as well as returning voicemail messages.
• Reaching out to Health Plan members to secure appointments with field providers.
• Adhering to specific talking points and protocols associated with outreach calls to members.
• Scheduling visits efficiently through the use of scheduling software.
• Exhibiting outstanding customer service skills.
• Employing exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Performing follow-up calls to members ahead of scheduled visits.
• Confirming and verifying all demographic and contact details while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Checking the active status of members' insurance and entering necessary information during patient registration.
• Raising any issues or concerns to the manager.
• Achieving performance standards and departmental objectives.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access, and various internet-based applications.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently.
• Proven ability to quickly develop telephonic relationships with prospective customers.
• At least 1 year of experience in a call center or relevant tele-sales environment (preferred).
• Basic understanding of medical terminology (preferred).
