This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct routine quality assurance evaluations for clients.
• Perform onboarding quality assurance assessments for newly recruited consultants.
• Offer training sessions for newly onboarded coding consultants as needed.
• Report quality-related issues to management.
• Assist in creating, executing, and monitoring quality improvement action plans.
• Maintain reports and accuracy statistics for coding consultants and clients.
• Address client QA requirements as directed by management.
• Deliver educational presentations on coding error patterns.
• Inform management of any compliance issues or incidents.
• Manage patient information in accordance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations.
• Uphold confidentiality and discretion while handling patient information.
• Participate in educational conference calls.
• Provide coding assistance to the business as required.
• Undertake other project-related tasks as necessary.
• Meet the established productivity and quality benchmarks.
• Maintain necessary coding credential standards.
• Must hold an approved AHIMA or AAPC coding credential.
• Experience auditing coders and conducting quality assurance is essential.
• A minimum of 4 years of coding experience is required.
• Specialty experience may be preferred based on specific client requirements.
• At least 3 years of auditing experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of remote work experience is recommended.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday mornings or evenings.
