This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Oversee and engage in audits related to quality systems, products, and processes.
• Coordinate and schedule audits with suppliers and team members effectively.
• Perform research and planning prior to audits.
• Execute supplier audits as required.
• Manage and facilitate thorough analysis and execution of Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCAs).
• Address both internal and external communications as necessary.
• Develop and help maintain standard procedures for the audit process.
• Support the creation of the annual audit schedule.
• Communicate and interact with various groups and management levels at Pratt & Whitney.
• Lead and engage in initiatives aimed at process improvement.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• At least 3 years of auditing experience within the Aerospace Industry.
• Strong understanding of AS9100 standards.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, 50–75% of the time.
• U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information related to this program/contract.
• ASQ, RABQSA, and/or Lead Auditor certifications are advantageous.
• Fundamental knowledge of special processes, manufacturing processes, manufacturing software, inspection processes, engineering, purchasing, programs, contracts, process control, First Article Inspection (FAI), non-conforming material management, and Corrective Action Request (CAR) management.
• Expertise in collecting and analyzing process data and converting it into actionable insights for senior management.
• Strong customer orientation, business acumen, adaptability, teamwork capabilities, and communication skills.
• Practical knowledge and daily application of CORE principles, particularly RCCA/8D methodology.
• Familiarity with industry standards and Pratt & Whitney's Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing Requirements.
