This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and expand a team of 8–10 outbound SDRs to ensure consistent pipeline generation.
• Formulate and implement an outbound strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives.
• Mentor SDRs on the fundamentals of prospecting, effective messaging, handling objections, multi-threading, authority mapping, and advancing through stages from booked meetings to Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQO).
• Hold the team accountable for daily activities, adherence to quality standards, and achievement of conversion metrics.
• Identify bottlenecks within the sales funnel and execute actionable improvement strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to enhance overall performance.
• Report team performance, pipeline health, and strategic insights to Senior Leadership.
• Foster a culture of ownership, resilience, and continuous improvement.
• Drive reliable outbound pipeline generation and enhance conversion rates at each funnel stage.
• Ensure transparency and trust in reporting and forecasting processes.
• Proven track record of scaling teams of 8–10 outbound SDRs.
• Demonstrated success in achieving consistent results across a team.
• High expectations for performance and accountability.
• Previous experience as an SDR or Account Executive is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of outbound selling principles.
• Ability to coach based on practical experience rather than theory.
• Exceptional skills in coaching outbound prospecting techniques.
• Strong understanding of the entire funnel stage progression.
• Knowledge of enhancing conversion rates from meetings to SQOs and into the pipeline.
• Comfortable presenting business outcomes and strategic initiatives to Senior Leadership.
• Proficient in data-driven storytelling and effective communication.
• History of making informed decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Capable of quickly diagnosing issues and developing structured action plans.
• Ability to balance immediate needs with long-term team development.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales leadership experience, including managing a team of 6 or more SDRs.
• At least 2 years of full sales cycle experience with a proven record in a quota-carrying role within the Mid-Market or Enterprise sectors.
• Demonstrated history of operational excellence and team development.
• Familiarity with coaching methodologies and techniques to enhance performance and growth.
• Eagerness to build, along with the scrappiness and agility necessary to scale an already strong SDR team.
• Willingness to travel to Fleetio HQ for quarterly meetings.
