Order Management Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage purchase orders from Arista's partners and end customers while creating corresponding Arista Sales Orders.

• Ensure precise shipping logistics are maintained.

• Review essential terms in customer and partner purchase orders for accuracy and adherence to contractual and pricing agreements.

• Address customer inquiries, including the processing of RMA requests.

• Confirm that customer and partner purchase orders include necessary product support for the ordered switches.

• Maintain up-to-date records of the installed customer base and service contract details.

• Collaborate with the Sales team on unique customer issues and situations.

• Build and retain knowledge of both channel and direct sales models.

• Effectively partner with distributors and resellers.

• Comprehend product offerings, subscription models, and renewal licensing frameworks.

• Resolve outstanding orders and monitor order cancellations to ensure accurate processing.

• Execute additional duties and projects as necessary, particularly in support of SOX compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in sales, particularly in order management and software maintenance renewals, is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow up on purchase orders, shipping terms, and related matters.

• Exceptional organizational skills; capacity to take initiative and work proactively with minimal oversight.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on helping customers.

• Results-oriented mindset.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in computer skills.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

• Previous experience with Salesforce.com is preferred.

• Capability to review and interpret contractual terms and conditions.

• Familiarity with shipping logistics and shipping terms applicable to North & South America.
