Oracle Fusion Reporting Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain intricate reports and dashboards within the Oracle Fusion reporting ecosystem.

• Create and enhance reports utilizing tools such as BI Publisher (BIP), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), Narrative Reporting, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).

• Generate self-service analyses and visualizations with OAC Data Visualization (DV).

• Develop reporting and analytics leveraging Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW).

• Extract and stage Fusion data for subsequent reporting processes using BI Cloud Connector (BICC).

• Create ad-hoc analyses and reports via Oracle Smart View for Office, including queries against EPM/financial reporting cubes.

• Construct interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.

• Develop paginated and pixel-perfect operational reports utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and/or Power BI paginated reports.

• Create and sustain Excel-based reporting through Power Query and Power Pivot for data transformation and modeling.

• Transform business and functional requirements into precise, efficient reporting solutions.

• Optimize report performance, diagnose data and rendering issues, and guarantee data accuracy and integrity.

• Document report specifications, data origins, and design decisions.

• Collaborate with functional teams, data teams, and business stakeholders to confirm output validity.

• Provide guidance on suitable reporting technologies for specific use cases and recommend best practices in reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Established, expert-level experience in writing reports within Oracle Fusion (Cloud) applications.

• Proven hands-on expertise across various Oracle reporting technologies: BIP, OTBI, FRS, Narrative Reporting, and OAC (including OAC Data Visualization).

• Experience with BI Cloud Connector (BICC) for the extraction of Fusion data.

• Practical experience with Oracle Smart View for Office for ad-hoc analysis and reporting tasks.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, encompassing data modeling, DAX, and dashboard creation.

• Background in building paginated reports with SSRS and/or Power BI paginated reports.

• Advanced Excel reporting skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot.

• Solid SQL abilities and familiarity with Oracle Fusion data structures and subject areas.

• Capability to gather requirements and independently deliver comprehensive reporting solutions.
