This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Configure and tailor Oracle Fusion applications to meet specific needs.
• Design and develop technical solutions, reports, interfaces, extensions, and workflows.
• Execute data migration utilizing FBDI templates.
• Deliver technical support and resolve issues effectively.
• Generate technical documentation and facilitate training sessions.
• Lead the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software applications/systems to align with specifications.
• Oversee system performance, address issues, and apply optimization strategies to improve application efficiency and effectiveness.
• Keep abreast of the latest Oracle Fusion and WMS tools and technologies, recommending enhancements to improve system functionality.
• Collaborate closely with the project management team to plan and execute Oracle Fusion and WMS related projects.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline workflows and boost efficiency.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion and WMS applications, offering guidance to team members.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to comprehend business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Manage the design, architecture, and build phases to produce high-quality deliverables.
• Take ownership of software documentation and user manuals.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies into current development practices while maintaining, updating, and enhancing existing software.
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to ascertain technical requirements.
• Collaborate and lead technical teams comprising employees and contractors in planning and execution.
• Review code to identify error causes and revise programs as necessary.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to Oracle Fusion and WMS, providing recommendations for implementation.
• Comply with company policies and procedures regarding data security and confidentiality.
• Understanding of business operations in manufacturing, distribution, and both 1P and 3PL business models.
• The ideal candidate should possess the unique ability to manage both business logic and technical implementation, ensuring that system solutions are both technically sound and functionally aligned with business objectives.
• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion OIC, OTBI, and BI Publisher.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Java, XML, and REST & SOAP APIs.
• Oracle Cloud Implementation certifications are advantageous.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP and/or WMS, including both technical and functional responsibilities, is required.
• Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud (SCM, OM, Finance, and Demand Planning).
• Solid background in building and supporting customizations.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and sprint-based project execution.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical information in layman's terms.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Awareness of and proficiency in utilizing a broad range of software solutions.
