Oracle Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business processes and convert them into precise functional requirements for Oracle solutions.

• Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.

• Configure and oversee Oracle applications (ERP Cloud or EBS) based on business requirements.

• Facilitate functional workshops, process mapping sessions, and gap analysis activities.

• Recognize opportunities for process enhancements and propose relevant Oracle-based solutions.

• Assist with data migration tasks, including validation and reconciliation of data.

• Organize, coordinate, and carry out functional testing (SIT/UAT) to guarantee the quality of solutions.

• Deliver support following implementation and contribute to ongoing system improvements.

• Create and sustain functional documentation, encompassing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Design Documents (FDDs), and test scripts.

• Ensure adherence to organizational standards, business needs, and Oracle best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in Oracle ERP (Cloud or EBS).

• Established experience in at least one Oracle module (Financials, Procurement, SCM, HCM).

• Strong comprehension of end-to-end business processes and their integration with Oracle systems.

• Experience in gathering requirements, designing solutions, and configuring systems.

• Capability to manage stakeholders and adapt to changing business needs.

• Preferred knowledge of integrations, reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher), and data management concepts.

• Familiarity with implementation methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1) is required.

• Experience working with U.S. clients is mandatory.
