This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in test planning, preparation, execution, and closure activities.
• Collaborate with both technical and functional teams to provide effective testing solutions for the HIGLAS program.
• Develop and document test plans, test data, test cases, and automated scripts for APIs, web applications, and client-server systems.
• Utilize test automation tools and methodologies for web applications, services, deployments, and test suites.
• Conduct web, API, functional, regression, load, and end-to-end testing, utilizing both automated and manual approaches.
• Write and adjust SQL queries for database validation tasks.
• Investigate, create proofs of concept, and assess testing tools and techniques for potential integration into HIGLAS.
• Identify, document, and track software defects until resolution.
• Collaborate with the team to minimize error rates and perform root cause analysis on errors and trends.
• Provide support for GDIT’s Hosting, Operations, and Maintenance services for CMS’s HIGLAS program.
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant testing experience.
• At least 5 years of experience testing Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with a relational database system, preferably Oracle or SQL Server.
• Over 5 years of experience utilizing MicroFocus/HP ALM.
• At least 3 years of experience in test automation.
• Familiarity with VBScript or Java.
• Experience in creating configurable and parameterized test automation scripts.
• Proficiency with QTP/UFT, SOAPUI/PostMan, Loadrunner/JMeter.
• Experience in testing or automating web forms, Java forms, web services, backend services, and ETL processes.
• Background in working within an Agile environment.
• Preferred: experience with Autosys and WebSphere.
• Preferred: experience with file types such as X12, XML, CSV, XLS, and HTML.
• Strong skills in organization, problem-solving, analysis, and both verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Must be able to pass a CMS background check.
• Candidates must have resided in the US for at least 3 of the past 5 years to qualify for a Public Trust position.
