This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the development, modification, and management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, reference guides, and process maps throughout their lifecycle.
• Set documentation standards encompassing version control, formatting, terminology, and approval processes.
• Perform needs assessments to detect documentation deficiencies and prioritize necessary content revisions.
• Ensure that all process documentation is aligned with changes in regulations, policies, systems, and business rules.
• Organize operational impact assessments for proposed alterations arising from markets, IT departments, compliance, or leadership.
• Create operational readiness plans that include SOP updates, communication strategies, and resources for staff enablement.
• Engage in CAB (Change Advisory Board) or similar decision-making meetings as a representative of Operations.
• Work alongside IT to interpret system modifications, validate workflow repercussions, and assist in user acceptance testing from an operational viewpoint.
• Aid in system rollouts and new business implementations by defining operational requirements and standardizing workflows.
• Identify inefficiencies and inconsistencies in operational practices; suggest and implement standardized solutions.
• Manage and supervise operational performance dashboards that evaluate and track key strategic objectives, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for leadership decision-making.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Healthcare Administration, Quality Management, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, business process improvement, change management, or similar fields.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is essential.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality SOPs, workflows, and job aids for a variety of audiences.
• Experience in supporting system implementations and collaborating closely with IT teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience in utilizing operational data and reporting to inform decisions and drive change.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational abilities.
