This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Analyze and assess first-line monitoring for Payment Operations and Service Operations.
• Evaluate statistical samples pertaining to Payment Operations and Service Operations processes.
• Complete reviews promptly and within established benchmark timelines while upholding quality standards.
• Monitor Service Operations calls to ensure compliance with customer service and documentation protocols.
• Accurately process regulatory and compliance tasks while completing necessary learning modules.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, or annual audits and quality assurance evaluations of internal controls.
• Oversee and validate management's corrective actions from compliance assessments.
• Conduct follow-up reviews to confirm corrective actions and ensure desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with management to pinpoint process inefficiencies and propose procedural modifications.
• Update and sustain quality assurance policies, procedures, and processes.
• Meet individual production targets and contribute to departmental benchmarks, metrics, and KPIs.
• Engage in team discussions, departmental meetings, and company-wide events.
• A minimum of three years of experience in credit and financial analysis within a financial institution.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business or Finance, or equivalent work experience in a related area is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal and state credit union compliance laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with Regulation B, Regulation CC, Regulation D, Regulation E, Regulation J, Regulation V, Regulation Z, anti-money laundering, Federal Reserve Bank rules, Funds Availability, NACHA Rules and Guidelines, IRS and Franchise Tax Board Rules and Guidelines, along with general banking regulations.
• Capability to multitask efficiently and adhere to deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proven critical-thinking, analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and SharePoint.
• Competence in auditing consumer and mortgage loan documents.
• Ability to operate computer terminals and standard office equipment.
• Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, adaptable, production-oriented environment.
• Must adhere to regulatory and compliance task deadlines and complete required learning modules.
• Corrected vision within the normal range.
• Hearing within the normal range; hearing-enhancement device provided if necessary.
