Operations Manager, Fraud & Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Examine fraud signals, claims data, and operational metrics to uncover risks, trends, and inefficiencies.

• Spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing controls, automating workflows, and minimizing manual handling.

• Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate quality, efficiency, and risk exposure.

• Oversee BPO partners in processing claims and fraud checks: set standards, evaluate performance, and promote continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with Data and Tech teams to develop enhanced detection and automation capabilities.

• Provide insights to Product and internal stakeholders to enhance user experiences and mitigate fraud risk.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in operations, fraud operations, risk, or a related analytical position within a fast-paced environment. Experience in fintech or payments is advantageous.

• Analytical & data-driven: You are adept at investigating anomalies, creating monitoring frameworks, and utilizing data insights to guide decisions and prioritize enhancements.

• Operational Excellence: You possess a strong operations mindset and take pride in developing reliable, scalable, and high-quality processes.

• Ownership: You take full ownership of intricate operational topics, proactively driving solutions and ensuring high standards through execution, follow-up, and continuous enhancement.

• Rigour & risk instinct: You are detail-oriented with a keen sense for risk and edge cases — ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

• AI-curious: You are comfortable leveraging AI tools in your daily tasks and actively seek ways to enhance fraud detection and operational workflows.

• Languages: You are a native French speaker and fluent in English, both written and spoken, as English serves as our internal working language at Joko.
