This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee the operations and maintenance of the EV charging network throughout Germany, ensuring consistent availability and reliability.
• Track performance metrics, uptime, utilization, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Offer technical assistance, conduct remote diagnostics, and manage anomalies in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Coordinate and oversee both preventive and corrective maintenance, including contractor interventions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure effective incident resolution and escalation processes.
• Analyze performance data to identify problems and enhance utilization and customer satisfaction.
• Drive optimization initiatives and support expansion opportunities at current locations.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for site hosts, service providers, and maintenance partners.
• Manage external service providers to guarantee service quality and adherence to SLAs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product, operations) to ensure accurate reporting.
• Act as the Responsible Electrical Specialist (Verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft - VEFK) in compliance with DIN VDE 1000-10.
• Ensure adherence to VDE, DGUV, and relevant regulations.
• Define and supervise electrical safety procedures and oversee contractor activities.
• Maintain safety documentation and assist in incident investigations.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of processes, systems, and documentation.
• Provide on-call support for second-level technical issues and critical escalations.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Certification as Responsible Electrical Specialist (Verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft - VEFK) is essential.
• Relevant experience in operations, field service, or maintenance within the e-mobility, energy, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of medium voltage/low voltage (MV/LV) electrical systems and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) topics related to maintenance activities.
• Capability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and site electrical plans in MV/LV infrastructure settings.
• Experience in managing contractors and service providers.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Germany.
• Availability for on-call support.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in both German and English; Italian language skills are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with IT systems, telecommunications infrastructure, remote monitoring platforms, or e-mobility technologies.
• Strong skills in presentations, reporting, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
