This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and integrated operational capability assessments in collaboration with engineering to ensure that high-density robotics and automated picking systems satisfy DTC standards.
• Act as the main operational leader for DTC warehouse activities during the launch phase, overseeing high-velocity workflows from receiving and put-away to individual unit picking, packing, and carrier-sorted shipping.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the launch playbook by documenting insights gained and standardizing work procedures for future site replication.
• Manage the daily execution of warehouse operations, leading large teams of hourly associates and frontline supervisors to meet high-volume throughput targets.
• Confirm the functionality of WMS/WES and monitor real-time system transactions to identify and resolve order-flow bottlenecks while ensuring inventory precision.
• Promote organizational safety measures by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting audits to ensure compliance with proper guidelines in a dynamic start-up environment.
• Oversee business-specific launch priorities, including labor planning, shift balancing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in IT, Supply Chain, and Automation.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in 3PL warehouse or distribution center operations, particularly in high-volume DTC or e-commerce fulfillment.
• Advanced familiarity with automated warehouse settings—specifically AutoStore or similar robotic goods-to-person systems—and hands-on experience with WMS/WES platforms.
• Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and experience enforcing safety measures (e.g., LOTO and fall protection) with contractors and staff.
• Proven ability to drive launch-critical KPIs, such as units per hour (UPH), order accuracy, OEE, and cost-per-unit.
• Strong aptitude for quickly addressing operational challenges and implementing corrective measures in real time.
• Preferred Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing projects within business units during ramp-up or peak periods.
• Automation Testing: Practical experience with operational testing and acceptance criteria for sophisticated automated fulfillment systems.
• Process Improvement: Proven track record of identifying inefficiencies and executing Lean enhancements or standardized work practices.
• Up to 80% travel may be required.
• Employees must possess a valid driver's license.
• Responsible for managing personal expenses to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
