Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operational workflows and pinpoint opportunities for enhanced efficiency.

• Assist in automation projects aimed at minimizing manual tasks while boosting accuracy and speed.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize tools and processes for internal teams and customers alike.

• Ensure compliance with operational controls, regulatory requirements, and risk management protocols.

• Play a key role in fraud prevention and adherence to regulatory standards by upholding high operational benchmarks.

• Track operational performance metrics and alert leadership to any risks or deficiencies.

• Promote customer-oriented process enhancements to improve turnaround times, resolution quality, and management of escalations.

• Broaden and enhance self-service options to lessen reliance on manual support.

• Establish regular feedback mechanisms to gather insights and drive continuous improvement.

• Prepare for operational readiness during new product or market launches by closely collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Support go-to-market strategies by alleviating bottlenecks and facilitating smooth implementation.

• Monitor and report on operational results, offering insights and recommendations to leadership.

• Implement operational projects and strategic initiatives in partnership with senior leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, ideally within a fast-paced setting (experience in Tech/FinTech start-ups is a plus).

• Proven ability to lead and mentor small to mid-sized teams effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail with a focus on solutions.

• KPI-oriented, with a track record of monitoring and enhancing performance metrics.

• Familiarity with process automation and operational tools.

• Preferred background in FinTech, consulting, banking, or dynamic start-up environments.

• Strong analytical abilities to convert data into actionable insights (knowledge of SQL is a plus).

• A collaborative team player with a vibrant energy and a proactive attitude.
