Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the daily operations of the Business Purpose Lending fulfillment team, which includes Account Managers and Closers.

• Track pipeline activity to ensure that loans move efficiently through the fulfillment process.

• Set priorities and workflows to achieve production and funding goals.

• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop the fulfillment team.

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous coaching and professional development for employees.

• Assess employee productivity, manage workload distribution, and evaluate operational performance.

• Stay informed about company policies, procedures, products, and systems.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency and improving customer service.

• Monitor loan cycle times, funding goals, and service level standards.

• Collaborate with borrowers, brokers, title companies, attorneys, and third-party vendors to facilitate loan closings.

• Handle escalated loan issues and ensure timely resolutions.

• Coordinate activities among Operations, Sales, Underwriting, Credit, Capital Markets, and Post-Closing departments.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

• Assist with operational initiatives, workflow improvements, and the introduction of new product offerings.

• Review operational reports and pipeline metrics to aid management in decision-making.

• Participate in departmental and company meetings.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent professional experience.

• 5+ years of experience within lending operations.

• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.

• Proven experience overseeing processing, fulfillment, closing, or funding functions.

• Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems (LOS), preferably LendingWise or similar platforms.

• Experience in Business Purpose Lending, including Bridge, Fix & Flip, Builder Construction, DSCR, Rental, or Small Balance Commercial loan products is preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of loan fulfillment workflows, pipeline management, and operational performance metrics.

• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and team development abilities.

• Capability to effectively manage various priorities in a high-volume setting.

• Skills in building effective working relationships across departments and business functions.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
