Operations Manager – 18-month contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Quickly develop a comprehensive understanding of our business and operational functions, as you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of all central functions.

• Step in to assist whenever necessary, demonstrating a readiness to grasp the intricate details of our operations to ensure all processes are efficient and effective.

• Collaborate and lead across various functions. You possess the capability to influence and align crucial stakeholders to create a consistent and meaningful impact, while also ensuring that key projects are delivered on time.

• Create scalable programs and processes that enhance the experiences of both customers and merchants.

• Track essential business metrics and devise strategies to enhance efficiency, lower costs, and elevate quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in startups or marketplaces is preferred.

• Background in restaurant operations is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills - capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficient in SQL, with strong skills in Google Sheets/Excel and data analysis.

• You are driven by metrics, data-literate, and able to articulate valuable insights.
