Operations Manager – 12-month contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Assist leadership in decision-making by delivering cost assessments, risk and benefit evaluations, resource feasibility analyses, and execution strategies for new milestones, goals, initiatives, and projects.

• Oversee expense monitoring, purchase authorizations, vendor management, and operational budgeting processes.

• Recognize, monitor, and escalate decisions that hinder product development in a timely manner, while collaborating with the team to facilitate resolution and ensure alignment on timelines and context.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager and the team to formulate scenarios for product milestone scope, timelines, and costs to be presented to leadership.

• Work alongside leadership and the team to uncover hidden inefficiencies in current processes and devise solutions to enhance delivery time and cost.

• Streamline recurring operational processes to enable smoother company operations and scaling.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of Operations Management experience in the technology sector.

• Proven experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams.

• Background in pre-revenue/pre-profit startups and firms with well-established operational processes.

• Proficient in expense tracking, budgeting, risk management, cost optimization, and company documentation management.

• Experience working with fully remote and distributed production teams.

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Preferred: Experience in game development or mobile application development.

• Preferred: Familiarity with web3 projects.

• Preferred: Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, along with the ability to apply them pragmatically.
