Operations Leader – Gas Power Project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bahrain.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the PCOE operational framework to enhance execution, accountability, and alignment with business priorities.

• Collaborate closely with Fulfillment Functions and global stakeholders to maintain focus on essential delivery, cost, and productivity goals.

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining processes, boosting efficiency, and reinforcing execution consistency throughout the organization.

• Supervise portfolio-level reporting and performance analytics, ensuring clear visibility on execution status, risks, resource requirements, and operational performance.

• Lead the resolution of escalated operational challenges, eliminate obstacles to execution, and ensure timely completion of action items.

• Utilize Lean principles and operational excellence tools to enhance productivity, minimize waste, and standardize operational practices.

• Collaborate across functions to discover and implement best practices that enhance project execution and overall organizational performance.

• Deliver clear and concise communications to senior leadership regarding operational performance, key risks, improvement initiatives, and progress towards priorities.

• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, problem-solving, and accountability within a diverse, global team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline;

• Significant experience in project and/or operations management within complex design-to-order industrial settings, preferably within large multinational corporations.

• Strong ability to manage cross-functional priorities and drive execution in dynamic environments.

• Demonstrated experience in Lean methodologies, continuous improvement, or productivity initiatives, resulting in measurable business impacts.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

• Proficient in English with a willingness to travel.
