This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Facilitate and assist in managing Nex Playground’s retail partnerships by overseeing contracts, product distribution workflows, documentation, and conducting regular meetings with partners.
• Monitor and coordinate project timelines, workback schedules, and deliverables to guarantee timely execution of product launches, promotions, and market expansions.
• Oversee retail portals and vendor relationships, manage budget processing, and handle purchase orders essential for Nex Playground's growth within current and new retail partnerships.
• Collaborate with the retail team and other key stakeholders at Nex to enhance and implement operational workflows and processes related to establishing and maintaining retail partnerships, as well as delivering products in both online and physical stores.
• Evaluate retail performance metrics and leverage data-driven insights to optimize merchandising strategies and boost brand visibility.
• Communicate project updates, potential risks, and timelines effectively to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• 1-2 years of experience in retail strategy and operations, e-commerce merchandising, or related areas, ideally in consumer electronics, gaming, or interactive entertainment.
• Solid understanding of shopper behavior and retail merchandising execution.
• Experience in category management, buyer relations, and retail operations with major retailers and warehouse clubs.
• Knowledge of global retail guidelines and execution processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex merchandising projects while balancing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Outstanding project management, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with internal teams and external retail partners.
