Operations Executive – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee customer inquiries via email in a professional and prompt manner.

• Address customer concerns with empathy and a solutions-oriented mindset.

• Uphold a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Manage returns, exchanges, and queries related to orders.

• Facilitate daily order processing.

• Keep track of stock availability and inventory levels.

• Assist with stock oversight and reporting.

• Collaborate with the warehouse to ensure orders are dispatched accurately and on time.

• Contribute to operational enhancements and documentation of processes.

• Process customer orders using Shopify.

• Update product, inventory, and order details as necessary.

• Troubleshoot basic issues related to Shopify.

• Support administrative functions related to the online store.

• Aid founders with various operational tasks as needed.

• Keep organized records and operational documentation.

• Assist with reporting and general business administrative tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in Operations, Customer Service, eCommerce Support, or an Operations Coordinator position.

• Excellent written communication skills in English.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Experience with Shopify (or comparable eCommerce platforms).

• Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail.

• Comfortable juggling multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Tech-savvy and quick to adapt to new software.

• Capable of working independently in a remote setting.

• Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office environment.

• Experience in inventory or stock management.

• Previous experience in supporting an eCommerce operation.

• Experience collaborating with remote international teams.

• Mindset focused on process improvement.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace and project management tools.
