Operations Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Manage daily operations across various self-storage and real estate properties.

• Collaborate with property managers, vendors, contractors, and internal team members.

• Ensure that operational tasks, maintenance issues, and tenant/customer concerns are addressed promptly.

• Develop and enhance operational systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reporting mechanisms.

• Monitor property performance metrics, including occupancy rates, delinquency, customer issues, and key operational indicators (KPIs).

• Oversee task execution across departments and ensure team members meet deadlines.

• Assist leadership with operational reporting, project management, and strategic initiatives.

• Facilitate the onboarding and operational integration of newly acquired properties.

• Maintain organized records for documentation, vendors, contracts, and operational workflows.

• Identify and address operational bottlenecks proactively to prevent escalation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in operations management, property management, project management, or business operations.

• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

• Experience in managing remote teams or vendors.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• High level of ownership mentality and strong follow-through.

• Comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings.

• Proficient in project management and communication tools (ClickUp, Asana, Monday, Slack, Google Workspace, etc.).

• Ability to work full-time during Oklahoma business hours (9am–5pm CT).

• - Experience in self-storage, real estate, property management, or hospitality operations.

• - Experience managing multiple properties or locations simultaneously.

• - Familiarity with operational reporting and KPI tracking.

• - Experience in process-building and SOP documentation.

• - Experience working remotely with US-based companies.

• - Spanish fluency (for candidates based in Mexico).
