• The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in empowering Watson Institute’s People & Operations Team, ensuring the smooth daily operation of essential operational systems.
• This position reports directly to the Associate VP of Operations and provides support for Talent, Financial, and IT operations.
• Facilitate and implement key elements of Watson Institute’s hiring process and talent pipeline, establishing the benchmark for an outstanding candidate experience within the impact sector.
• Manage prompt and professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring journey, ensuring regular updates and a positive experience at every step.
• Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Aid in the execution of daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing within the team.
• Enhance Watson Institute’s core systems infrastructure, primarily focusing on Google Workspace Admin.
• Show a strong desire to be part of a team that upholds high standards for quality and excellence.
• Maintain a high standard for quality and attention to detail, with a keen ability to identify inconsistencies in writing, formatting, and communication.
• Be exceptionally organized and process-oriented, utilizing systems, trackers, and clear workflows to manage tasks accurately and effectively.
• Work with purpose and structure, planning ahead and establishing order in complex or fast-paced environments.
• Take responsibility and see tasks through to completion, adopting a results-oriented approach to ensure responsibilities are fulfilled from start to finish.
• Exhibit high integrity, exercising sound judgment, managing sensitive information responsibly, and making decisions that align with the organization’s values.
• Approach problems with a systems-thinking mindset, having experience in building, improving, and managing processes that facilitate consistent and reliable execution.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be confident in navigating technological systems, with experience in tools such as Google Workspace Admin and a desire to build and maintain scalable internal systems.
• Show enthusiasm for utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) to enhance and elevate the candidate experience, positioning Watson Institute as a leader in this area.
• Have familiarity with Monday.com or comparable workflow management tools.
• Possess exposure to SaaS-based tools that support operational workflows, with a preference for experience in expense management platforms like Expensify.
• Competitive base salary based on experience: $60,000.00-$65,000.00.
