This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Assist the Global Sales and Brand teams in gathering information and managing logistics for travelers prior to their arrival.
• Help ensure that the G Adventures brand and other client brands are accurately represented across the region.
• Support product evaluations and the development of new offerings.
• Organize all essential pre-tour information for travelers, including Welcome Letters/Welcome Packages, verifying Good to Go, boarding passes, and service reconfirmations, particularly when these tasks cannot be handled by the CEO (Tour Leader) or when no CEO is assigned to the tour.
• Monitor incident reports as they arise, liaising with the Reservation and CEO Supervisors as needed to assess if further action is required, and communicate with relevant parties to aid in resolving issues.
• Coordinate with the Regional Operations Leadership team regarding last-minute changes and keep the CEOs and providers updated.
• Leverage in-depth regional knowledge to assist the reservation team in finding solutions when new alternatives are necessary to ensure trips adhere to their itineraries.
• Support the Customer Solutions team with on-tour and post-tour challenges by investigating, collaborating, and communicating with stakeholders to manage situations effectively and reach resolutions.
• Assist with validations to streamline vendor reservations in collaboration with the reservations team, including changes during and after tours that may necessitate system modifications to align invoices with the system upon receipt.
• Evaluate and communicate cancellation fees to Base Camp Operations.
• Typically requires collaboration with the buying team and negotiation with suppliers.
• In emergencies, you may be called upon to assist outside of standard work hours.
• Contribute to G Adventures' success by demonstrating a positive, enthusiastic demeanor and engaging in G Adventures' initiatives and activities.
• Over 3 years of experience in the travel industry.
• Highly proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Availability to work on a Sunday to Thursday schedule (5 days/week).
• Strong computer skills.
• Familiarity with regional geography.
