Operations Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the scheduling of regional staff to guarantee uninterrupted service coverage and operational effectiveness.

• Actively manage coverage for vacations, illnesses, and absences to reduce business interruptions.

• Collaborate with managers, team leaders, and specialists to enhance service delivery, safety, and performance objectives.

• Maintain a network of associates and contractors to ensure workforce adaptability when necessary.

• Monitor attendance, payroll-related schedule modifications, and workforce coverage needs.

• Support Health & Safety initiatives, including incident reporting, investigations, and compliance monitoring.

• Analyze operational and safety data, identify trends, and propose enhancements.

• Prepare and disseminate performance, compliance, and customer reports to essential stakeholders.

• Assist in workforce planning, recruitment approvals, and resource management tasks.

• Maintain geofencing and regional coverage systems to bolster field operations.

• Advocate for continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence throughout the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• A relevant qualification in agricultural, animal science, or a related field is preferred.

• Equivalent hands-on experience will also be taken into account.

• Prior experience with shift patterns and rotas is essential.

• Proven track record in developing and maintaining relationships across various business sectors.

• Familiarity with bovine genetics and farming is desirable.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for quickly establishing rapport.

• Effective time management skills and the capability to handle a demanding schedule.

• Ability to work autonomously and exercise personal initiative.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Occasional travel within the U.K. may be necessary.

• A full UK driving license is preferred.
