This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Execute back-office transactions related to savings plans, which encompass investment services, enrollments, and distributions.
• Guarantee the prompt and accurate investment of contributions while entering participant census data.
• Examine and resolve inconsistencies in census data, delays in investments, outstanding balances, and client-related issues.
• Process and conduct quality checks for participant enrollments and distribution transactions, including loans, terminations, and hardships.
• Reconcile trust accounts, 1099 records, payouts, and discrepancies in distributions.
• Collaborate with service teams, clients, brokers, trustees, partner organizations, trust companies, and internal departments.
• Ensure timely generation and distribution of 1099-Rs, RMDs, and other periodic distribution events.
• Reinvest uncashed or voided distribution checks and address trust excesses.
• Offer customer service by responding to correspondence, researching requests, and achieving partner service-level goals.
• Engage in audits and periodic events, document procedures and workflows, and suggest improvements to processes.
• Work together with colleagues, providing mentoring and training as necessary, and assist with various tasks and projects.
• Safeguard confidential information while embracing emerging technologies, platforms, and evolving practices.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field of experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
• Familiarity with Access is preferred.
• Basic comprehension of assigned operational tasks.
• Capability to clearly articulate and document actions taken or needed.
• Competence in solving defined process issues using available resources and procedures.
• Ability to identify and escalate conflicts as required.
• Proficiency in making decisions regarding participant or plan-level transactions based on established precedents.
• Skill in managing assigned responsibilities, adhering to predefined schedules, and achieving task-specific goals.
• Effective communication skills with clients and internal/external business units.
• Ability to protect, secure, and appropriately manage confidential data.
• Minimal to no ERISA or specific technical knowledge required for this role.
