This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in creating a remarkable employee experience by ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, equipment setup, system access, and orientation logistics.
• Manage employee offboarding procedures, such as access revocation, equipment returns, and exit paperwork.
• Keep onboarding and offboarding checklists and trackers up to date.
• Process routine payroll entries each cycle for review and approval.
• Provide support for employee benefits enrollment, modifications, and terminations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding standard policy inquiries.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.
• Assist with leave administration by tracking requests and keeping records organized.
• Handle sensitive employee information with care and confidentiality.
• Organize HR documentation, templates, and operational manuals.
• Offer administrative and operational assistance for various initiatives.
• Identify and recommend enhancements to operational processes and documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in operations, HR, administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
• Comfortable serving as a responsive initial point of contact for employees across different time zones.
• Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage thoughtfully across cultures and time zones.
• Eager to learn new systems and technologies, with the capability to adapt quickly to new tools and processes.
• Preferred: Experience with an HRIS or HCM platform.
• Preferred: Experience in onboarding or offboarding employees in a remote or distributed team environment.
• Preferred: Familiarity with international HR operations, Employer of Record (EOR) models, or multi-country payroll.
• Preferred: Experience working cross-culturally or internationally, adaptable to various communication styles and workplace norms within a global team.
• Preferred: Experience in a nonprofit, research, or mission-driven organization.
• Preferred: Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
