OpenShift Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Management and daily operations of OpenShift clusters, including their deployment, updates, and scaling, both on-premises and in cloud environments.

• Provisioning of container storage and formulating backup and restore protocols.

• Overseeing cluster networking (Ingress, Egress, Network Policies, PKI) while applying security standards in accordance with NIST and BSI IT-Grundschutz.

• Utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and engaging with DevOps technologies (Argo CD, Helm, Kustomize, CI/CD pipelines).

• Assisting developer and operations teams in utilizing the platform and providing coaching for internal teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of OpenShift with proficiency in cluster provisioning, maintenance, and scaling.

• Good familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware), observability, logging, and image registries.

• Experience with RBAC and integration of Active Directory or LDAP.

• Competent in working with Linux systems and common automation tools.

• Excellent German language skills, both in written and verbal communication.
