Online Portuguese Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Conduct engaging one-on-one online sessions utilizing Microsoft Teams.

• Foster a nurturing and customized learning atmosphere that encourages student participation, confidence, and achievement.

• Assign tasks and deliver prompt feedback on academic performance, homework, and projects.

• Track student development and ensure accurate grading and academic documentation.

• Communicate professionally and proactively with students, their families, and LanguageBird personnel as necessary.

• Exhibit dependability, professionalism, and respect in all interactions.

• Engage in mandatory training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience teaching Portuguese, either online or in a classroom setting.

• Native-like proficiency in the Portuguese language.

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• Experience with middle school and/or high school students is preferred.

• Familiarity with educational technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting while adhering to deadlines and expectations.
