This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the vision and execution of designated core departmental responsibilities.

• Lead and support training initiatives with national significance, collaborating with multiple cross-functional partners.

• Identify projects that align with the goals of the Training department and the Commercial team.

• Create and implement training plans specifically for the US Sales team role.

• Engage in the development of Training team SOPs.

• Work alongside internal teams to address training requirements that align with departmental and organizational objectives.

• Lead and mentor assigned Regional Trainers through gathering feedback, developing training plans, executing training sessions, evaluating effectiveness, and providing coaching.

• Collaborate with designated sales representatives in the field at least once each quarter.

• Provide constructive feedback to sales representatives and managers, including coaching plan recommendations aimed at influencing behavioral change.

• Share feedback with sales leadership and assessment scores for new hires in coordination with the Head of Training.

• Partner with the US Oncology Training Team.

• Develop, guide, and execute sustainment and new-hire training focused on products, patient journeys, disease states, and sales skills.

• Design and implement curricula utilizing podcasts, workshops, slide decks, and other training modalities.

• Responsibly utilize AI-enabled tools to enhance work efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.


⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in oncology/oncology diagnostics, pharmaceutical, hospital-surgical sales, or key account management.

• 2+ years of experience in oncology training, or at least 4 years of oncology experience with a minimum of 1 year of successful tenure at Guardant Health in lieu of the training experience requirement.

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.

• Experience in creating training plans and content utilizing various modalities tailored to the audience.

• Proven experience in tracking training effectiveness.

• Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects with cross-functional teams and vendors simultaneously.

• Training content development and delivery experience within the oncology biotechnology, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical sectors.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word.

• Ability to learn about and implement AI technologies.

• Competence in coaching, inspiring, and providing clear feedback.

• Capacity to work independently and remotely while fostering teamwork and urgency to adhere to timelines.

• Self-directed, intrinsically motivated, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and time management skills.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to coordinate tasks through collaboration with others.

• Solid presentation abilities.

• Excellent writing and proofreading skills.

• Effective collaboration with colleagues at all organizational levels.

• Curiosity, sound judgment, and the ability to critically evaluate and responsibly leverage AI-enabled tools in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Background screening, including criminal history, is required.

• Ability to sit for extended periods and work in a desk/office environment; may encounter laboratory noise, fumes, and biohazard materials.
