This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Interact with customers to identify their needs and inform key stakeholders about oncology products.
• Connect with the wider oncology community to meet or surpass established sales targets.
• Collaborate with territory team members to achieve or exceed sales objectives for the region.
• Engage with key stakeholders to gain insights into practice structures, business models, and influential figures.
• Foster business relationships and establish trust to uncover and comprehend customer requirements.
• Utilize approved resources and messaging to convey patient-centered justifications for oncology products in their indicated uses.
• Analyze trends within complex purchasing settings and various drug-distribution channels.
• Assess and review product purchasing and prescribing behaviors.
• Formulate and implement both short-term and long-term strategies with the local team and district manager.
• Pose insightful questions to facilitate pertinent discussions regarding the product portfolio.
• Guarantee a consistent customer experience across all company divisions and functional domains.
• Share valuable insights and collaborate with the customer team, which includes the Customer Team Leader, Key Account Manager, Nurse Educator, Field Reimbursement Associate, and Medicare Account Executive.
• Cover the Madison–Green Bay, Wisconsin / Rockford, Illinois territory and parts of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time, including around 20% for overnight trips.
• Bachelor’s degree combined with a minimum of 6 years of sales experience OR at least a high school diploma along with 8 years of equivalent experience.
• Equivalent experience may consist of professional sales roles, healthcare/scientific work experience with a strong preference for oncology, professional marketing experience, or military background.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a vehicle.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including roughly 20% for overnight stays.
• Reside in or near the assigned territory.
• Over 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience is preferred.
• More than 2 years of oncology field-based experience selling oncology therapeutics to oncology clients is preferred.
• A documented history of high performance in a sales, marketing, or oncology clinical role is preferred.
• Clinical oncology experience across various solid tumors is preferred.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary care teams, cancer staging, treatment options, pathways, and guidelines.
• Experience or understanding of oncology group purchasing organizations, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies.
• Candidates with less than 2 years of oncology field sales experience will be evaluated for the S2 level.
• Candidates with 2 or more years of oncology field sales experience will be assessed for the S3 level.
