Oncology Nurse Navigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide education to cancer patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment alternatives, and any related inquiries or concerns.

• Collaborate closely with researchers to offer customized information and direct patients to appropriate medical centers and healthcare professionals.

• Tackle obstacles to care, which may include registration processes, appointment scheduling, coordination with health plans and care teams, and transferring medical records.

• Offer continuous support throughout the cancer journey for patients, including linking them to mental health resources, financial assistance, transportation services, and providing answers to their queries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be available to work Eastern hours (8am-5pm EST).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in oncology nursing.

• Proficiency in common navigation and care coordination challenges, such as registration, scheduling, clinical department navigation, insurance coordination, and resolving coverage issues.

• Strong skills in essential computer applications, including Gmail, Zoom, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) designation is preferred.
