This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Prepare and implement the launch of Avutometinib and Defactinib in LGSOC.
• Clearly communicate the clinical value proposition of Avutometinib and Defactinib to clients.
• Achieve business goals in a compliant manner.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of assigned accounts and key customers.
• Educate stakeholders regarding product advantages, safety, and management of side effects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support all aspects of the patient journey.
• Implement both short- and long-term account strategies.
• Create business plans that align with brand strategy and allocate promotional resources in a compliant manner.
• Analyze business, product, technical, market, and customer data.
• Drive sales performance and achieve annual sales targets.
• Establish relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
• Work together with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support compliant demand generation with prescribers.
• Identify and evaluate trends across drug distribution channels, Oncology GPOs, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies.
• Provide staff support at exhibit booths and displays.
• Engage in product, skills, and corporate training.
• Follow company and compliance guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Represent Verastem to customers and report to the Regional Sales Director.
• A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Oncology and/or Rare Disease is required.
• Ability to travel as necessary, which may involve overnight and/or weekend travel; 50% overnight travel is expected.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration.
• Capability to comply with all customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., up-to-date vaccinations, trainings).
• A passionate and self-motivated individual.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
• Experience in Women’s Health or GYN/Oncology is preferred.
• Oral drug experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of geography and customer base is preferred.
• Experience launching new products and/or indications is desirable.
• Experience with geographical accounts and strong relationships is beneficial.
• Oncology experience in the gyn onc or ovarian space is a plus.
