This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Meet the designated sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Achieve specified goals for outreach to relevant healthcare professionals, providing balanced, accurate, and comprehensive information about Kura’s FDA-approved products.
• Create and execute a business plan for the territory that addresses customer requirements and meets objectives.
• Navigate complex external and customer organizational structures, including hospitals, IDNs, GPOs, and healthcare communities, while collaborating with cross-functional commercial teams.
• Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks such as budget management, expense report handling, CRM call reporting, and synchronization, in accordance with company guidelines.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of healthcare professionals (HCP) and account needs, leveraging this insight to strategically promote and enhance the usage of assigned products.
• Operate within the assigned expense budget for the territory, demonstrating fiscal responsibility.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines, including but not limited to the PhRMA Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, as well as Kura’s standards and policies related to all job functions.
• Successfully complete and maintain updates on all training aspects, including product knowledge, disease state, market insights, selling skills, and compliance.
• Assist in identifying and resolving issues and opportunities, while proactively communicating with marketing and sales management.
• Develop and consistently showcase an expert understanding of HCP and account needs to effectively expand the use of assigned products.
• A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business, marketing, healthcare, or life sciences.
• A minimum of 6 years of successful pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, with at least 3 years in the oncology/hematology and/or rare disease markets, ideally with experience in selling oral therapeutics.
• Proven ability to manage large territories, which includes occasional overnight travel.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required for conferences.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in computer applications, particularly WORD, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT.
