This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive new account acquisition and foster organic growth through strategic prospecting, value-based selling, and clinical education.
• Establish Caris as a preferred or exclusive provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutions.
• Assess territory opportunities and formulate strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets.
• Meet or surpass assigned revenue, activity, and performance goals.
• Cultivate and sustain robust customer relationships through regular in-person interactions.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the entire order lifecycle.
• Maintain open lines of communication with key account stakeholders and escalate issues when customer satisfaction may be compromised.
• Implement retention strategies and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Engage with oncology clinicians and allied teams in clinics, pathology labs, and hospital environments.
• Assist physicians with the ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform, including access to PHI when necessary.
• Demonstrate and provide guidance on technology solutions such as portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of molecular profiling, biomarkers, and competitive offerings.
• Offer consultative support regarding billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
• Serve as a resource for laboratory reimbursement and operational workflows.
• Share insights on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence with leadership.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, and Commercial Leadership.
• Keep accurate CRM documentation and fulfill necessary administrative responsibilities.
• Maintain assigned company assets.
• Support meetings, conferences, and trade shows as necessary.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics is essential.
• Familiarity with billing and reimbursement environments is needed.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities are required.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is necessary.
• A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel regularly are required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements is mandatory.
• Over 5 years of sales experience with a focus on oncology or molecular diagnostics is preferred.
• Established relationships in oncology or pathology are preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital systems and pathology networks is preferred.
• Travel is required, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, which includes a criminal background check, drug screening, credit check (applicable for certain positions), and reference verification.
