This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• This role will involve the development and maintenance of strategic business relationships with Oncology departments and practices.
• Establish and nurture relationships across accounts that create opportunities to enhance the experience for patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals within the region.
• Consistently collaborate with internal and cross-franchise leaders to identify, design, and modify suitable approaches and tactics.
• Deliver compelling on-label technical and scientific presentations utilizing approved data.
• Act as the primary US Commercial contact for targeted accounts within the designated geography.
• Work in partnership with AbbVie and co-promotion counterparts to ensure excellent customer support for physicians.
• Develop, implement, communicate, and regularly update strategic and tactical business plans for targeted accounts.
• Track and report on sales progress.
• Business acumen: the analytical capability to assess diverse data sets using various tools and define account/program strategies that drive business goals.
• Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of effectively addressing customer needs in a complex environment through innovative, forward-thinking strategies that align with both company and customer objectives.
• Proven leadership skills; capability to lead without direct authority.
• Experience in successfully developing teams to tackle complex projects or challenges to achieve desired results.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Persistence and determination with a strong history of achieving success in challenging environments.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company vehicle, or powered material handling equipment.
• Valid driver's license: must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Bachelor's degree (Preferred).
• Experience in Oncology, Specialty, or other pharmaceutical sectors (Preferred).
• Account Management experience in any industry (Preferred).
• Experience in Specialty Pharmacy (Preferred).
• Background in the healthcare industry, particularly working with patients or consulting for healthcare companies (Preferred).
• Experience in people management or other leadership roles (Preferred).
• MBA or other advanced degrees (Preferred).
