This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization.
• Clearly communicate all pre-employment requirements to new hires, offering thorough instructions and support.
• Monitor the timely completion of onboarding tasks and screenings by new hires, tracking progress via tools like Smartsheet.
• Organize and file pre-employment documents, maintaining an orderly record-keeping system.
• Conduct check-ins with new hires at 15 and 30 days of employment to address any issues and support their integration.
• Perform and monitor various background checks for both pre-employment and renewal needs.
• Utilize various Human Resource platforms such as ADP, iCIMS, and i9 Advantage.
• Promptly and efficiently respond to and process assigned tickets from the internal ticketing system.
• Actively engage in team meetings, promoting open communication and collaboration within the team.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the onboarding process.
• Ensure access to and maintain the security of highly sensitive materials, adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Strive for continuous improvement in project productivity and quality goals.
• Communicate regularly with team members and departmental managers, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
• Take part in additional projects or responsibilities as assigned.
• A High School Diploma is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience or a comparable combination of education and/or experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• An energetic approach paired with a positive attitude.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively with VRI team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
