This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, implement, and continually enhance a well-organized onboarding experience for new employees across corporate, field, and hourly positions.
• Perform proactive check-ins with new hires on their first day, during the first week, and at the 30/60/90-day milestones.
• Manage onboarding and check-in tasks in collaboration with HR, Training, and Field Operations.
• Ensure accountability among partner departments and address any gaps or missed check-ins.
• Collaborate with hiring managers on pre-start checklists, planning for the first 30/60/90 days, and coaching for manager readiness.
• Monitor and report on the completion of onboarding, check-in statuses, and early attrition patterns.
• Identify onboarding deficiencies that lead to turnover and suggest targeted interventions.
• Develop and sustain onboarding resources for new hires, their managers, and partner departments.
• Act as the primary point of contact when a new hire's initial experience indicates potential risk.
• Oversee the transition from recruitment to onboarding with Talent Acquisition Managers (TAMs), Senior Talent Acquisition Partners (Sr. TAPs), and Talent Acquisition Partners (TAPs).
• Assist with onboarding initiatives that align with the overall retention strategy.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in onboarding, HR, talent acquisition, or a related people-oriented role.
• Experience in multi-unit environments or the hospitality/entertainment sector is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate efforts across various departments and hold partner teams accountable without direct authority.
• Proven experience in building or enhancing structured processes.
• Comfortable engaging in direct and challenging conversations with managers and partner departments.
• Proficient in tracking trends, creating simple dashboards, and analyzing data.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capable of managing a high volume of simultaneous onboarding cycles across multiple locations and departments.
