On-Page SEO Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete on-page SEO optimization process, encompassing research and planning through to implementation, quality assurance, and performance analysis.

• Evaluate keyword opportunities, search intent, competitor web pages, and content deficiencies to pinpoint high-value optimization prospects.

• Develop comprehensive content briefs and assess content for accuracy, alignment with search intent, topical depth, and adherence to SEO best practices.

• Enhance on-page SEO components, including metadata, headings, internal links, page layout, and content structure.

• Examine and confirm technical SEO aspects, such as indexing, canonicalization, structured data, and crawlability.

• Execute content updates in WordPress or collaborate with Content Writers and Developers to ensure precise implementation of all recommendations.

• Track optimization performance utilizing SEO tools and suggest continual enhancements based on data and business outcomes.

• Work alongside SEO Strategists and multidisciplinary teams to boost search visibility, user engagement, and conversion rates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum C1-level (Advanced) proficiency in English

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline

• Over 3 years of practical experience in On-page SEO

• Background in digital marketing, advertising, or SEO agencies

• Proficient in keyword research, search intent evaluation, competitor analysis, and content strategy development

• Proven experience in crafting content optimization briefs and reviewing service or landing-page content

• Solid understanding of internal linking, metadata, schema, and website structure

• Familiarity with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or comparable SEO tools

• Practical experience in updating and optimizing pages in WordPress, covering content, metadata, headings, internal links, and fundamental SEO elements

• Availability to work a 9 AM–5 PM Eastern Time schedule from Monday to Friday, with at least 7 hours of overlap
