Offshore Finance Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Execute daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, which include invoice matching, data entry, and billing.

• Reconcile daily bank statements, corporate credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Maintain the general ledger with precise coding of income and expenses.

• Monitor outstanding debtor accounts and perform credit control and payment follow-ups.

• Aid in payroll processing and review expense reports as necessary.

• Ensure that task documentation and financial records align with company policies and applicable standards.

• Collaborate with offshore and onshore finance, payroll, operations, sales, and customer service teams.

• Address basic payment and billing inquiries from suppliers, vendors, and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• CPAP, CPA, or ACCA qualification as required in education/experience.

• At least 4 years of demonstrated experience in a dedicated accounting or finance officer position.

• Previous experience in offshore, remote, or outsourced environments is preferred.

• Proficient in cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, SAP, Oracle Financials, or Salesforce.

• Familiarity with ERP systems.

• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

• Skilled in using office productivity tools.

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

• Must reside in the Philippines.

• Availability to work from 09:00 to 17:00 AEST, Monday to Friday.
