This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Become a part of our OEM Sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you will play a key role in driving strategic growth by utilizing our comprehensive technology and product portfolio in diagnostic and applied markets.
• You will identify and cultivate high-value commercial supply opportunities, with an emphasis on IVD markets and out-licensing business.
• In this position, you will establish and sustain strategic relationships across various functions and organizational levels with client companies, ranging from scientists to senior executives.
• You will coordinate cross-functional teams to execute intricate, multi-year agreements while ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering business growth.
• This role provides the chance to make a significant impact by empowering our customers to create innovative solutions that contribute to a healthier, cleaner, and safer world.
• A Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of commercial experience in the life sciences or diagnostics industry.
• Preferred Fields of Study include life sciences, biochemistry, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of molecular biology, cell biology, and protein biology.
• Experience in negotiating complex supply agreements and managing sales funnels.
• Proven ability to develop and implement territory plans and strategic account strategies.
• Successful track record in building and maintaining relationships at various organizational levels.
• Capable of project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with intellectual property, patents, and the fundamentals of contract law.
• Experience in creating pricing proposals for customized, long-term commercial agreements.
• Ability to analyze market trends and uncover new business opportunities.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and coordination of technical support.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English are essential.
• Proficiency in local languages as required for specific regions.
• Competence with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as necessary.
• Experience in the IVD market and familiarity with regulatory requirements is preferred.
