Occupational Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Provide remote occupational therapy services to students using AXIS Teletherapy’s virtual model.

• Assist students in developing practical, emotional, and physical skills to enhance their independence in both school and daily activities.

• Tailor creative therapeutic approaches to fit each student's environment and individual requirements.

• Foster students’ functional participation, confidence, and engagement in their educational journey.

• Work collaboratively with speech-language pathologists, psychologists, counselors, evaluators, colleagues, and educational partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized program.

• Washington Department of Education Certificate in Occupational Therapy.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience within a school environment.

• Exhibits professional integrity, ethical conduct, adherence to policies, and accountability.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and communicate with colleagues.

• Capable of adaptability, problem-solving, independent troubleshooting, and possessing a growth mindset.

• Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.

• Strong time management skills and efficient task management abilities.
